Vincent has been drawing, building, and hanging cabinets in South Florida for over eighteen years. He started Top Shelf after too many years watching good design get handed off to whoever was cheapest that week — a designer who never saw the room, an installer who never met the designer, and a homeowner left to referee. At Top Shelf the person who measures your kitchen is the person who draws it, and the person who draws it is standing there the day it goes in.
That is the whole model. There is no sales team, no project coordinator relaying messages, and no rotating cast of installers who have never met the person who drew the elevation. It does not scale especially well. It does produce kitchens that fit.

One crew, start to finish
Design, build, finish, install, punch list. Nothing is subcontracted to whoever is cheapest that week, so there is exactly one person to hold accountable and you already have his number.

You see it before you buy it
Upload a photo of your kitchen and see it in walnut shaker before you spend a dollar. Most shops ask you to imagine it. We would rather just show you.
Licensed, insured, and happy to prove it.
Licence number and certificates of insurance go on every proposal. When a condo association needs to be named as additional insured, we handle that before anyone asks twice.

From the first visit to the punch list.
Seven steps, in order, every time. You always know which one you are in.
The first visit
Vincent comes out, measures the room, and looks at what you already have. If your boxes are worth keeping he will tell you so, even though refacing is the smaller job. You get a straight read on what the space can do.
Design and drawings
We draw the room in 3D — elevations you can actually read, not a rendering with fake pendant lights. You see cabinet heights, drawer configurations, and where every filler lands before anything is ordered.
Materials in your light
Door samples, finish samples, and hardware come to your house. Showroom lighting lies. A white that looks warm in the showroom can read grey under your north-facing window, and you should find that out now.
A real calendar
At contract you get dates, not a range — order date, expected delivery, install week, template day, countertop install. If a supplier slips, you hear it from us in writing the day we hear it.
Build and finish
Boxes are built and doors are finished while your room is still intact. Nothing gets torn out to sit and wait for a delivery, which is the single most common way a kitchen project turns into three months of takeout.
Install week
Demo, protection, layout, set, scribe, align. Vincent is there the morning the first box goes up. The site gets cleaned at the end of every day, not at the end of the job.
Punch and close-out
We walk the whole room with you and write the punch list down. Then we finish it. You get your drawings, your material specs, your care instructions, and the hardware for every adjustment we made.
