It is a design tool, not a quote. There is no pricing in it, because the real number depends on your measurements, your materials, and what we find behind the old cabinets. That part is a conversation.
Cabinets are the whole job here — not a line item on somebody else's invoice.
We are a cabinet shop first. That means the kitchen gets designed around the cabinetry instead of the cabinetry being squeezed into a layout somebody else already drew.

You see it before you buy it

Four door styles, four finishes, and about a thousand opinions.
Most people arrive knowing they want "something lighter" and leave knowing they want rift white oak slab with a painted perimeter. Here is the short version of how those decisions go.
Shaker
The safest good decision in cabinetry. Reads traditional in paint, modern in rift oak.
Slab / flat panel
No frame, no profile. Lets the material do the talking — best in walnut or a strong veneer.
Raised panel
Traditional and formal. Heavier visually, which is why it wants a lighter finish down here.
Beaded inset
Doors set flush inside the frame with a bead detail. The most expensive to build and it shows.
Walnut
Warm chocolate brown with real movement. The current favorite for a reason.
White oak
Rift-sawn for a straight, quiet grain. Takes a light natural finish beautifully.
Maple
Tight, near-invisible grain. The right choice under a painted finish.
Painted
Any color, sprayed and hard-cured. Whites, greys, deep navy, and matte black are what South Florida asks for.

Coral Ridge galley, opened up
A closed 1957 galley kitchen with eleven feet of run and a pass-through window. We took the wall to the living room, rebuilt the layout around a nine-foot island, and went rift white oak with a painted perimeter.

Aventura tower, developer cabinetry replaced
Original 2004 developer cabinetry in a high-rise with a four-day work week and one service elevator. Replaced with matte handleless frameless, appliance panels integrated.

Intracoastal summer kitchen
Direct waterfront exposure, thirty feet from salt water. Marine-grade HDPE cabinetry with 316 stainless hardware and a porcelain countertop that will not chalk in UV.

Weston builder kitchen, soffit gone
A 1998 builder kitchen with yellowed maple and a soffit eating fourteen inches of vertical space. Same footprint, ceiling-height cabinetry, and roughly forty percent more storage.

A very large 1990s kitchen that was structurally sound and stylistically finished. Two islands, a proper butler's pantry, and ceiling-height cabinetry throughout.

Seven steps, in order, every time. You always know which one you are in.
The first visit
Vincent comes out, measures the room, and looks at what you already have. If your boxes are worth keeping he will tell you so, even though refacing is the smaller job. You get a straight read on what the space can do.
Design and drawings
We draw the room in 3D — elevations you can actually read, not a rendering with fake pendant lights. You see cabinet heights, drawer configurations, and where every filler lands before anything is ordered.
Materials in your light
Door samples, finish samples, and hardware come to your house. Showroom lighting lies. A white that looks warm in the showroom can read grey under your north-facing window, and you should find that out now.
A real calendar
At contract you get dates, not a range — order date, expected delivery, install week, template day, countertop install. If a supplier slips, you hear it from us in writing the day we hear it.
Build and finish
Boxes are built and doors are finished while your room is still intact. Nothing gets torn out to sit and wait for a delivery, which is the single most common way a kitchen project turns into three months of takeout.
Install week
Demo, protection, layout, set, scribe, align. Vincent is there the morning the first box goes up. The site gets cleaned at the end of every day, not at the end of the job.
Punch and close-out
We walk the whole room with you and write the punch list down. Then we finish it. You get your drawings, your material specs, your care instructions, and the hardware for every adjustment we made.

He started Top Shelf after too many years watching good design get handed off to whoever was cheapest that week — a designer who never saw the room, an installer who never met the designer, and a homeowner left to referee. At Top Shelf the person who measures your kitchen is the person who draws it, and the person who draws it is standing there the day it goes in.

One shop, one crew.
The shop is in Fort Lauderdale and most of our work happens within about forty minutes of it. We go from Miami Shores in the south to Palm Beach Gardens in the north, and we schedule the far ends in blocks so nobody waits on a truck stuck on I-95.
The part we cannot write ourselves.
Vincent talked us out of a full replacement on the first visit. Said our boxes were solid plywood and we would be throwing away the good part. He refaced everything in a painted shaker and it looks like a completely different kitchen. Who tells you to spend less?Danielle R.Coral Springs
