Cabinet Refinishing & Painting
A sprayed factory finish, not a brush and a hopeful afternoon.
Sprayed in a controlled finish, not brushed in your kitchen. Doors come to the shop and come back hard-cured.
The difference between a cabinet paint job that lasts nine years and one that chips in nine months is almost entirely preparation and cure. Kitchen cabinetry takes fingernails, grease, steam, and cleaning product every day, and a brushed latex coat over a factory catalyzed finish will not survive that no matter how carefully it went on.
We degrease, sand, and prime with a bonding primer made for the finish underneath, then spray. Doors and drawer fronts come off to the shop where they get sprayed flat and cure properly. Boxes are sprayed in place under containment with the room under negative pressure so your house does not end up coated in overspray.
What you get when you hire us for cabinet refinishing & painting.
- Full degrease and scuff-sand of every surface, including door edges
- Bonding primer matched to the existing factory finish
- Doors and fronts sprayed off-site and hard-cured before rehang
- On-site containment with negative air for box and frame spraying
- Grain filling on oak when a smooth painted look is the goal
- New hinges and hardware installed on rehang
From the first visit to the punch list.
Seven steps, in order, every time. You always know which one you are in.
The first visit
Vincent comes out, measures the room, and looks at what you already have. If your boxes are worth keeping he will tell you so, even though refacing is the smaller job. You get a straight read on what the space can do.
Design and drawings
We draw the room in 3D — elevations you can actually read, not a rendering with fake pendant lights. You see cabinet heights, drawer configurations, and where every filler lands before anything is ordered.
Materials in your light
Door samples, finish samples, and hardware come to your house. Showroom lighting lies. A white that looks warm in the showroom can read grey under your north-facing window, and you should find that out now.
A real calendar
At contract you get dates, not a range — order date, expected delivery, install week, template day, countertop install. If a supplier slips, you hear it from us in writing the day we hear it.
