FAQ

The things people ask before they call.

If yours is not here, call and ask. You will get Vincent or someone who works with him, not a script.

Questions

Everything we get asked.

What areas do you serve?
Broward County, North Miami-Dade from roughly Miami Shores north, and Palm Beach County up to Palm Beach Gardens. The shop is in Fort Lauderdale and most of our work is within about a forty-minute drive of it. Northern Palm Beach projects we schedule in blocks.
Do you charge for the first visit?
No. Vincent comes out, measures, looks at what you have, and gives you a straight read on what the room can do. You get a real opinion on that visit, including when the honest answer is that you need less work than you thought.
How long does a kitchen take?
Eight to fourteen weeks from deposit to punch list for a full custom kitchen, driven mostly by cabinetry lead time and the two-to-three week gap between countertop template and install. Refacing is typically about a week. You get actual dates at contract.
Do you do the countertops too, or do I need a separate company?
We handle them under the same contract. Because we set the cabinets, we control what the countertop gets templated against, which is where a lot of seam and level problems come from when two companies are involved.
Can you work in my condo building?
Yes, and we assemble the board packet before the contract is signed so approval runs at the same time as cabinetry lead time. We carry the certificates of insurance buildings ask for and we work inside restricted hours and elevator windows as a matter of routine.
Is custom cabinetry a bad idea in South Florida humidity?
Not if it is built for the climate. Plywood boxes rather than particleboard, sealed edges in wet areas, and stainless hardware and appropriate finishes on coastal properties. What fails here is particleboard and outdoor wood, and we do not use either where they will fail.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes. Sagging doors, dead drawer glides, a swollen sink base, a shelf-to-drawer conversion. Most shops want a whole kitchen or nothing, which is why those jobs go undone for years. We batch small repairs by area to keep the trip efficient.
Can I use my own cabinets and just hire you to install?
Yes. We inspect and document everything on arrival before we hang a single box, because a missing panel found on install day becomes a four-week delay and it matters who documented it first.
What does the visualizer actually do?
You upload a photo of your kitchen and pick a door style and finish, and it shows you your own room with those cabinets in it. It is a design tool, not a quote — there is no pricing in it, because the real number depends on measurements, materials, and the condition of the room. That part is a conversation with Vincent.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. License number and certificates of insurance are on every proposal, and we will name your condo association as additional insured when the building requires it.

Come look at the room with us.

Vincent does the first visit himself. He measures, he looks at what you already have, and he tells you straight what the room can do — including when the answer is less work than you expected. No charge for that visit.
